The company has achieved 70% of the 31 objectives set in its first report, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable and responsible growth.<\/p>\n<p>The report<em>\u201c20 Years of Responsible Choices,\u201d<\/em> was prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) international standards, together with consultants from The CSR Agency. It is the result of a complex process, which included consultations with more than 600 external and internal stakeholders, as well as a detailed evaluation of the company\u2019s activities during 2022\u20132023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key achievements and targets reached in 2022\u20132023<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsible choices for a sustainable economy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Net sales: over RON 173.3 million (2022) and over RON 178.8 million (2023), continuing a consistent upward trajectory with a 42% CAGR between 2004\u20132023.<\/li>\n<li>Contributions to the state budget: RON 38 million in 2022 and 2023<\/li>\n<li>Investments: nearly RON 2 million allocated to the expansion of Secom\u00ae\u2019s retail network with six new physical stores<\/li>\n<li>Over 95% of suppliers were local, with expenditures of 36% in 2022 and 41% in 2023, reflecting the company\u2019s focus on supporting local businesses.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of the \u201cVoice of the Customer\u201d platform (ticketing system) to streamline complaints management and consumer and B2B feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Establishment of the Secom Sustainability Committee, comprising all members of the executive team, to promote sustainability principles and ensure the allocation of resources for strategic initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsible choices for a healthy society<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All partner manufacturers hold international certifications such as ISO, GMP, or NSF, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficacy.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting an observational study in partnership with a hospital in Ia\u0219i that demonstrated the efficacy of Daily-D3 2000 IU from the Good Routine\u00ae portfolio \u2014 after 90 days of administration, the average 25-OH-vitamin D level increased by 12.19 ng\/mL, a 61.57% improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Expanding the portfolio to over 600 products \u2014 since 2022, the company has also introduced functional foods, personal care products, and natural cosmetics to its retail network to meet consumers\u2019 diverse needs and help them adopt healthy habits.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cSupliment de bine\u201d podcast (formerly \u201cS\u0103n\u0103tatea \u00een Focus\u201d) increased its total reach by over 40%, reaching 9.6 million in 2023 and helping educate the public on healthy lifestyles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsible choices for team development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Secom\u00ae team grew to 174 employees in 2022 and 181 in 2023.<\/li>\n<li>Total salary budget: RON 28.3 million in 2022 and RON 29.3 million in 2023<\/li>\n<li>RON 690,000 invested in employee training over 2022\u20132023.<\/li>\n<li>Employee benefits exceeded RON 2.1 million in 2023 \u2014 up 21% from 2022.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible benefits of RON 600\/month per team member, in addition to performance bonuses, medical subscriptions, accident insurance, discounts on company products, psychotherapy sessions, financial incentives for recruiting new team members, loyalty bonuses, and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsible choices for the community<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial, product, and\/or volunteer support for 62 organizations (NGOs, hospitals, educational institutions)<\/li>\n<li>RON 1.5 million invested in social projects during 2022\u20132023.<\/li>\n<li>Through the \u201cTogether in Service of Good\u201d program, Secom\u00ae supported 17 social projects focused on two priority SDGs \u2014 Health and Well-being, and Quality Education \u2014 with 142 team members involved in proposing and implementing the initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsible choices for a clean environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>83% of electricity consumption came from renewable sources in 2023 \u2014 nearly double that of 2022<\/li>\n<li>53% of plastic containers used for Good Routine\u00ae products in 2023 were made of recycled plastic<\/li>\n<li>Since 2023, 44% of Secom\u00ae\u2019s locations have been powered exclusively by renewable energy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are some of Secom\u00ae\u2019s key sustainability achievements.
