Area Sales Manager Pharma


About the Job- Mission of the role

Managing and leading a team of medical&sales representatives, developing their capabilities in order to achieve assortment, visibility in pharmacies and sales objectives, according to company strategies.

Job Responsibilities People Management

  • Leads, motivates, coaches, develops, and trains the 5 people sales team according to their objectives.
  • In close collaboration with the HR department, handles the hiring process as well as laying off.
  • Communicates and measures the objectives, and gives honest feedback on performances on a regular base.
  • Manages each team member in order to achieve the goals rewards and recognizes high-performing team members and manages non-performance appropriately.
  • Has daily contact with its team (direct or indirect). The contact is managed namely via coaching, mentoring and double-visits and trainings plans.

Internal and external collaboration

  • Ensures continuous cooperation, communication and sharing of information with peers, both sales and medical, National Sales Manager, NKAM, Trade Marketing Manager and Sales Excellence Manager;
  • Shares best practices with the company departments;
  • Builds and maintains business relationships with targeted customers, KOLs and ensures customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty to the company and its products in order to meet or exceed annual sales objectives;
  • Gives constructive feedback to Trade Marketing Manager on the acceptance of the promotional campaign and materials
  • Develops area strategies in order to meet the volume objectives, turnover and profit;

To succeed in this role you should have:

  • Experience in sales min 3 years and 2 years in team management(Pharma industry would be a plus);
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced sales and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to develop customer relationships;
  • Communication and presentation skills, creativity, results orientated;
  • Medium level in English;
